Magora Project Spring 2026 Co-Lab:
Regenerative Building & Living Systems
March 9–20, 2026
Villa Magora, Terlingua, TX
Join us for a two-week, hands-on Co-Lab focused on collaborative leadership, living systems, and natural building, hosted at Villa Magora in the Chihuahuan Desert near Terlingua, Texas.
At the heart of this Co-Lab is learning how groups, buildings, and ecosystems function as living systems. Through daily collaboration, shared responsibility, and intentional communication, we’ll practice leadership that is participatory, adaptive, and rooted in relationship—not hierarchy.
Alongside this, we’ll work together on a hyperadobe natural building that is being designed as a closed-loop living structure—one that manages its own resources, supports human life, and contributes positively to the surrounding ecosystem. This build serves as a real-world model for what regenerative, place-based living can look like.
This is not just a building workshop. It’s an immersive learning environment where we explore how to build structures, systems, and communities that are resilient, collaborative, and deeply connected to place. No prior experience is required—just curiosity, willingness to participate, and openness to learning together.
What to Expect:
Hands-on Hyperadobe building sessions
Interactive workshops on resource management, ecosystem restoration, and regenerative design
Communal cooking and shared meals prepared together
Camping (bring your own gear; a few bell tents available)
Evening campfires, storytelling, music, and discussion
A balanced daily rhythm: ~5 hours of work Monday through Friday, with time for rest and connection
Daily check-in circles that center conscious communication, empower individuals to self-select daily contributions, and honor accessibility and all abilities.
We’re seeking participants who:
Value collaboration and hands-on learning
Are ready to show up with their hands, heart, and whole self
Want to co-create something meaningful—one build, one meal, and one moment at a time
Value and are committed to practicing conscious communication as a foundation for strong relationships and a healthy community.
Value land stewardship and regeneration of this rare desert ecosystem
